The bar

Mestizo Café Bar opened in 2000. It sits in Los Cristianos, in the south of Tenerife.

Why Mestizo

The name came from a spontaneous idea, but it fits the place. Mestizo means meeting, mixing, an open identity. Here Europe looks across to Africa. Every day, cultures from all over the world cross paths.

Mestizo is more than a bar. It is a meeting point.

Open to everyone

A welcoming, friendly space, open to all. People come for a coffee, a drink or to meet someone.

The mural on the façade

The façade carries a mural, «Smile you are alive», by LOBO. You can see it by day and by night.
